Re: The Witty Sea Fury is here!!

I have made do with this Hobby Master 1/48 model.

Well at least you have one i'm still waiting for one.
It be cool if Witty did the 105 Sea Fury too.

Thumbs up Re: The Witty Sea Fury is here!!

Great pictures and links, truly amazing looking bird. I'll have to wait for the RCN Sea Fury I think, have to draw the line somewhere. Haven't taken the plunge with Witty yet either, should be interesting.

At the risk of being redundant I have posted pics of both the Dutch Sea Fury and Spitfire in my Witty Pics thread.

Re: The Witty Sea Fury is here!!

Guys, which Sea Fury that's been released so far has the most historical significance since three out of four has the same basic livery. Did the Dutch Sea Fury take part in any combat operation worth mentioning?

Regards,

Sergey

None of the regular vendors have the SF's listed. Have they really arrived, or are the eBay sellers jumping the gun? If the SF's have arrived, are they going to be limited to just certain vendors? (That would leave a lot of disappointed optimists out there.) Unless I see them listed at a major vendor like the Mule, I get a bit suspicious...

It would be interesting if someone actually reported RECEIVING one of those eBay orders...

Re: The Witty Sea Fury is here!!

I built that Hobbycraft kit as well. I think it was a great kit. I am looking forward to getting the diecast.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

The only A/C to see combat were the Royal Navy Sea Furys in Korea. One was credited with downing a Mig 15

Re: The Witty Sea Fury is here!!

I just received my Sea Fury's (via E-bay). Nothing to put together but the stands. I'll try to post pictures later - but looks great so far.

Re: The Witty Sea Fury is here!!

Sea Furies of the Royal Australian Navy also saw action in Korea, although none were engaged in any air to air combat.
