Witty has a new F-16 in the works?

TFM has a listing for a 144FW California ANG F-16C due for September. Finally a non-wacky colored subdued looking Viper? Me like!

Interesting -- I like Witty's F-16, though I'm prone to picking up the wacky colorful types

Dragon has several sudued schemes and is generally considered to be more accurate I think... if not, those in the know will put me in my place shortly!

I saw this too, I just never got around to posting it. If this is just a standard F-16 paint scheme with the black tail, it'll be very tempting. It's about time Witty put out a somewhat normal F-16.

Yeah, I fully agree. Good that Witty has come up with this. Personally, I like my planes in operational paint schemes. Let's hope it also comes with good amount of ordnance.

That's cool to see a Cailf ANG Viper...
I'll get this one if it's done right.

Here's the real thing: http://www.f-16.net/gallery_item229086.html

Paint-wise, it suffers from the same problem as most Dragon F-16's: They're applying 1980's camoflage patterns and colors to a 2000+ jet.

How did the 80's schemes differ? The light grey underbelly?

Re: Witty has a new F-16 in the works?

I was considering that Sunstar command F-16 but after looking at better pictures I was unimpressed, especially for around $40-$50.
