Re: New F15 "Mount Fuji" pics???

Just got my Mt. Fuji. Very nice but for the price (higher than most other Witty Eagles) why doesn't it come with any missiles. I know pictures don't show missiles but it'd be nice to have them anyway (after all it still is a fighter plane and would mount aim 9's or aim-120's).

Being a 'showbird', missiles would detract from both the authenticity as well as look of the aircraft. If it had missiles, I wouldn't have bought it - to each their own ...

I know Card, that's why I specifically pointed to the Aim 9's and Aim 120's. I was really pointing to the fact that it's pricepoint is higher than other Witty Eagles (and trying to be funny when saying it was a fighter) and those have missiles. I would not buy one if it had Aim 7's on rails attached to the wings but I wouldn't mind extra Aim 9's to use on other aircraft (as those are detachable on the Witty Eagle). Just sayin.............

Thanks for posting win_arc. Very nice pics indeed! I'm an operational schemes collector and usually give colourful schemes a pass. In fact, F-15 Mt Fuji came closest to changing my mind and making an exception.

Nice pics of the F-15 Mt Fuji. although its a nice scheme, I also prefer the normal schemes of the F-15.

Re: New F15 "Mount Fuji" pics???

I have had one on pre-order since November last year. Unfortunately I've now been told they are unable to get it!

Doesn't seem to have 'landed' at any of the usual suspects in the UK at all.

I'm wary of ordering stuff from the US because it either seems to get lost en route or i get stiffed for import duties.

Any ideas???
