Tornado coming from Witty

According to the latest Flying Tigers newsletter --- F.3 variant with sweeping wings, opening canopy, and.... wait for it.... variable landing gear! Is Witty finally getting it? We'll have to wait and see.

That would be very nice.

Dear Witty, welcome to 2008 and thank you for trying to catch up!
p.s. please inform Gaincorp and Franklin Mint of your intentions to give a crap about something so basic in a diecast airplane.

Re: Tornado coming from Witty

If this is true, I hope the gear is strong and I am all over a few of these babies.

Re: Tornado coming from Witty

Honestly, is this a good move for Witty? Corgi's Tornados were very sharp, but didn't seem to catch on on either side of Atlantic. I know this is a different Tornado version, but still Witty does best when there is no or limited competition like with Su-27 and MiG-29. On the other had, pretty much every release (with an exception of the first one) of Corgi Tornado could be had for peanuts on eBay.

Regards,

Sergey

Well I will take the 25Sqn bird, good choice as the squadron stood down this year, then an 11 Sqn followed by 43,56 Firebird and 111sqn ones and the black 43Sqn one and a medium sea grey new scheme Leuchars one (no Sqn markings)

Good point Sergey! Plenty of other aircraft out there. Why not a SU-25 Frogfoot or an F-111 Aardvark or AV8 Harrier (if they want to do a previously released Corgi model)?!?

Re: Tornado coming from Witty

Yeah, not so sure I care about another Tornado all that much but I was more excited about the gear options as a change for them going forward. 'Bout time!
