Re: Tornado coming from Witty

I've been waiting years for a FIGHTER Tornado. Hmmmn. Based on past Wittys, I'd bet a lot of money it copies the Hasegawa mold though, and is thus lacking half the Sidewinder launch rails.

For squadrons---Number 5 and only Number 5. Love the maple leaf on them.

Re: Tornado coming from Witty

It's cool witty is doing a Tornado, hopefully it will be as good as their Mig 29 or F-15.

Now I know I'm in the minority here is saying this & you guys can flame ma all you want, but I really hope they don't have optional landing gear.
One of the reasons I like witty is because I can pull they right out of the box & display them with no fuss.
Out of the thousands of 1/72 models made with optional gear I have only seen a small handful that really work well.
Most of the time you need glue or it's just a big pain in the azz to get these things to sit or display right.
I got into diecast & away from plastic models kits so I wouldn't have to put anything together, thought thats was the beauty of diecast.

Not on a Tornado F.3. UK and Saudi only for that variant.

Re: Tornado coming from Witty

Hi Guys.
I agree with Phantom Phan1200 about the fixed undercart. Many times i have messed around with small parts which would never hold the weight of the model.Saying that it,s good to have the choice on how to present the model.
PS.Have you seen HM F4D phantom?-what a beast.
