can anyone take a pic of the Royal Maces Superhornet?

I missed this model and I cannot see the name of the CAG on the cockpit side in any online pictures...so if anyone has this model, I'd appreciate a photo of the model. I can give you pictures of the real plane I took a few days ago while on board USS. Kitty Hawk...altough it was at night and for a cocktail party, so it was dark.

It was here in Hong Kong for a port-call, the ship is going to be decomissioned soon so it was a special event, the last time it made a port call in Hong Kong. Admiral Wren said that USS. George Washington was coming to Asia to take it's place. On my lucky trip, I saw all the CAG birds, and the Witty one seemed quite accurate, but since it was released a few years back, I guess the CAG was somebody else (It is Capt. Michael McNellis now). The first picture shows the nose of the Royal Maces CAG bird (F/A-18E 165860), taken in the hangar. The second shows the Diamondbacks CAGbird nose area (F/A-18F 165894), and I have no idea who that lady is, when I took the picture on the flight deck, the lights were off and I was lucky the superbug was actually where my camera was pointed at!!

This is a picture of mine. I went onboard the USS Kitty Hawk in 2006 when she was in Singapore but the Witty F/A-18E was probably a 2004 VFA-27.

I wouldn't be surprised. Otherwise it'd be like confiscating a camera at an airshow

Diamondbacks CAG bird in 2006. Cameras were allowed onboard for visitors even when we were inside the island. I took many pictures of the planes on the flight deck. Too bad the F-14s were no longer around.

Re: can anyone take a pic of the Royal Maces Superhornet?

Yes, cameras were allowed this time too, and trust me, people were taking pictures of anything, That girl you see was posiing in front of the Diamondbacks CAG bird for her own kodak moment, I actually was around and under the Superbugs with a friend of mine who was interested in close up detals for modeller accuracy...we were were not being chased around by anyone, in fact, officers and sailors were happy to brief us but we were all over the planes...So I see the Witty reproduction is quite accurate, although not up to date of course...hmmm, time to make a decision!
