111th Fighter Squadron F-16 90th Anniversary Camo

Since Witty has released two other USAF Sq. Anniversary F-16’s maybe this Texas ANG flag ship bird from the 111th FS will be next one?

I hope so. I designed the paint scheme. I've tried contacting the diecast model manufacturers without success. Hasegawa has released a 1/72 kit of this aircraft. See link below.

Good job! Are you with the 111th? Here are some pics I shot from last years Wings Over Houston airshow. A decal maker (Crossdelta) saw them on a forum and contacted me to see if he could use them to produce aftermarket decals in 1/48th and 1/32nd scale. He sent me a pic of his test sheet (pictured below) and offered to send me a free set when they are done.

Booooooooriiiiiiiiiiiing !!!

Just looks toyish to me and in my eyes it would just be a waste of production ressources.

I'm with the 147FW, soon to be 147RW. The decals look great. I'm working on a 1:32 model.

I'd be in for one -- I like the merging of the retro markings with the modern airframe. Not boring to me 'tal.

Re: 111th Fighter Squadron F-16 90th Anniversary Camo

Went to Ellington Field yesterday (Sat.) for an event supporting our troops and the F-16 was displayed.

I took more walkaround pics of the 111th bird and noticed new "decals".

I would like to know more about these mission markings

Re: 111th Fighter Squadron F-16 90th Anniversary Camo

Just looks toyish to me and in my eyes it would just be a waste of production ressources.

LOL only on a diecast forum would somebody look at pic of a REAL aircraft & call it toyish. Rivet counting & nit picking as just sunk to new levels when real planes become the target.
Maybe I will go into work tomorrow & tell the Captain the panel lines on our Airbus look over done & the antennas are not in the right place!!!!!!!

Back to the original topic.
I think the show paint on this F-16 is interesting, looks like a tribute to old pre WWII USAAF & USN aircraft colors.
Tankergator thanks for posting pics of your work & welcome to the forums.
