Hawker Sea Fury T20s - Anyone know where to find one?

I would love to get one of these little limited edition beauties but they appear to only be available in the UK. I can bag one thru Ebay, but it would be a $55.00 Witty by the time it arrived. Has anyone seen a place in the US or Canada where I might try? I must add it to my collection of "weird" RAF aircraft!

Re: Hawker Sea Fury T20s - Anyone knoe where to find one?

It can take up to 30 days for items to arrive here after they have shown up in the UK, and I would think that Sea Fury isn't a UK exclusive, so it should show up here anytime now..

Oooopsss.. Sorry, I just read that this plane is a "special commission" on Flying Tigers website, so getting it from the UK might be your only hope..

I'm so hoping too! I have an affinity for two-seater variants and this one fits the bill for me.

Here's a link that tells the history of that particular a/c:

I don't see Witty making a "one-off/special commission", so there is bound to be more of these in the future..

Thanks Harry. I'll check in with Flying Tigers to see what they have for it.

That one is nice!

I wish they would do the Sea Fury that downed a MiG-15 during the Korean War.

Didn't the Irish Air Corps use the two-seater Fury?

Re: Hawker Sea Fury T20s - Anyone know where to find one?

I checked out Flying Tigers and it appears that if you want this model it is going to cost over $50.00 to buy and ship it to the USA. Blast the awful exchange rate!!!

While there I saw the Air Racing Sea Fury It is even more expensive. Seems like all the good stuff is going across the pond!

I would like to see a two-seater Sea Fury in the livery seen below. It is a preserved Seafury Sea Fury T Mk.20S N924G VX300 Marked with Fleet Air Arm codes "RN 924/88"
