Any turbine detail in the airtakes?

Not only can you see the fans through the intakes, there is open space between each blade and the fans spin. If you blow hard enough, you can get the fans spinning. However, I recommend using a toothpick so you don't pass out and drop your cool new MiG 29UB.

Re: Any improvement on the MiG-29UB?

As a matter of fact, I know that someone at Witty is looking at this, and probably this helped everyone get a more accurate and pleasing model.
As for the single seater, it should be shipping out around/after X'mas, so I am quite sure there is no more time for last-minute adjustments! Photos of the sample have been up on the witty site for a while now, and since I am not such an expert, I haven't found any fatal mistakes, my only complaint is still the cockpit canopy shape, it seems a bit "flatter" than it should. Final judgement when I get my paws on the actual model.

Re: Any improvement on the MiG-29UB?

Mine arrived today, and it is really impressive. Modern jets are a little out of my line, but the MiG-29 has always been a favorite (or maybe it is just all MiGs!), so I couldn't pass it up. Anyway, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a beautiful display model ("See what I got dear, wouldn't it look great on the mantel?" -- suuuuuurrrrre, that's going to work!), because it certainly is a showpiece. Now waiting impatiently for number 2! (Watch out for the little Pitot dealies on the sides (under the OPENING canopy) because one of mine fell off, and almost went missing; it was easy to glue back on.)

Re: Any improvement on the MiG-29UB?

you're not the only one to have that problem...I think they forgot to glue a whole batch of those models.
