Nice, but I'd rather buy a new mould of the Flanker....read: Su-30MK "tandem two-seater" and a correctly shaped canopy!!!

Hear, hear! I'm waiting for that too! Particularly a two-seater (and please, Witty, don't screw up the canopy on this one...).

Re: New Su-27 Schemes Listed On Wittys Web Site

I gotta say I think that's the most incorrectly-colored low-vis F-14 I've ever seen (the new VF-103). 1-tone? No paint on the wing sealing bags? Plus all the other issues with Witty's so-called F-14 "B". I sure hope that's a prototype/sample. They also somehow got a LANTIRN pylon and pod on the wrong side of the plane. And the modex slants the wrong direction.

Yeesh, that might be Witty's worst yet, it's just sad. Here's to hoping Century does one like that. (I like Jolly Rogers black+white even better than the black+yellow)

not to mention those "grey" ext fuel tanks. A new canopy would do some good too

A Su-30 you bet i wish they make one of them babys...
The Jolly Rogers could of been a little better at least paint it like it should be painted.
They need to remold that F-14 anyway the nose piece is awful looking.

This Su-27 has just landed in my 'hangar' and it is truly superb - the fit and finish is one of the best I've seen on a diecast model .

Personally, I think Witty's products are very underrated and even though they have the 'gear-down' only option (which I personally like), they still compare very favourably to the much-hyped and more expensive CW products .

One sheep to rule them all ...

Re: New Su-27 Schemes Listed On Wittys Web Site

I do agree that CWs are much too talked about and that Witty offers good value for money, especially when you want sturdy fit and subtle panel lines (read "to scale").
I could not imagine a CW F-22 for example...imagine the panel washing and the non-CAD looking tooling?? CW looks great the way they are because they're sticking to old weathered navy 70s birds, and they should probably keep going that way!
Would be interesting though to see them deal with the Su-27, when in Russian service, seldom as clean and new as Witty depicts them!

The LANTIRN pylon/pod being on the wrong side is a pretty bad error. But, have they ever put them on the port side? The external tanks needs to be black colored right? Correct me if I'm wrong but the modex is slanted correctly on the port side but incorrectly on the starboard side?

Can you explain to me what else I should be looking at to know what is wrong?
