New pics, FW-190, P-38 & F-15

Here are some pics I shot of Wittys new F-15, P-38 & FW-190 offerings.
I took these outside because the lamp I use to take photos indoors is broken.
I dont think the sun worked to my advatage in some shots.

Re: New pics, FW-190, P-38 & F-15

Great pics! Love the F-15 even though I don't collect jets. I'm seriously thinking about dumping my IXO P-38 and getting this one. Don't like the rocket packs, but love the fuel tanks and bomb combination. I'm disappointed with the large gap between the nacelle and prop spinner, but compared to my IXO P-38, it's something I can live with. Cost is my main concern. If I pay a few bucks more, maybe I can get the Corgi version which I'm sure will be better. Or I can wait a couple of years and buy Dragon's P-38. Decisions, decisions.

Fw-190 looks great too. But I've got three 190As so why get another?

Excellent pictures, PhantomPhan!

The P-38 looks decent enough on the detail department and I don't see why I should hold out any further and get that sucker into my collection pronto!

And don't forget the rockets Andrew, you should never forget the rockets.

Upon further review, I think I'll wait on this one!

Great pics Gerry! Thanks! I would like to get the FW-190. Needs alittle extra touch-up paint, like on the gun barrels and on bombs. Looks very nice overall. The P-38 cools cool too with the rockets.

Re: New pics, FW-190, P-38 & F-15

I just purchased that F-15 as well. It's one sweet bird. (Of course being the habitual customizer I am, I removed the landing gear and took the liberty of removing the fuel tank on its underbelly.)

Actually I remember as a child when I started putting together model airplanes, one of the first F-15's I ever purchased was a 1/72 snap together kit which carried those exact markings. The've been engraved in my memory ever since.

You should have gotten the Dragon F-15A Green Dragons. Atleast it comes with an ASAT Missile. I thought that squadron only used F-15A's. That witty's is a F-15C
