Thumbs up Witty Sea Fury

Just finished putting my first 2 Witty Sea Fury's in the display case - R.A.N. and R.C.N.. I have always liked the look's of the Hawker Sea Fury so they were a

must to get. Right out of the box the look stunning and have a lot of weight to them, quality is very good on both.I especially like the Royal Canadian Navy one

it goes well with my R.C.A.F collection. All in all this was a great purchase a must have.

I am also waiting for my first RCAF plane, the sea fury, I just wished it had retractable gears.

Re: Witty Sea Fury

Yes if you ordered through Scott he has them, not sure whats left in stock mind you. Mine is waiting for the shipment to get bigger, which should happen next week, to replace the damaged models. Can not wait.
Hey Avro Arrow what other RCAF aircraft do you have in 1/72 scale. Trying to stay to one scale I know FM/A has a good amount in 1/48.

Cool Re: Witty Sea Fury

I haven't committed to buying a Sea Fury yet. Been waiting for the Canadian one along with the Iraqi one. I must say that the Canadian looks worth the wait. Any pics Avro Arrow?

Re: Witty Sea Fury

Hey keblace,

I just got started into diecast in January of this year so I don't have many RCAF aircraft as of yet,but every time that I find one I try to order it.Here is a list of what I have been able to purchase up to now;If you or anybody know of others that are still available please let me know.

RCAF

Corgi 1/72 Avro Lancaster SAR AA32606
Corgi 1/32 Dehaviland Mosquito (Moncton Express) AA34601
Corgi 1/144 CF-130 Hercules AA31307

Witty Wings 1/72 Hawker Sea Fury 72015-6

The biggest collection of RCAF models that I have are Mahogany Desk Top Models made in the Phillipine out of native Mahogany. These models are about
1/32 to 1/24 in scale, and my collection includes these aircraft : Avo Lancaster SAR , P-51 Mustang , CF-18 Hornet , C-130 Hecules , Tutor Jet (SnowBird #4 ) , Spitfire , CF-105 Avro Arrow , CF-5 Freedom Fighter single seater , CF-5 Freedom Trainer twin seats, CF-104 Starfighter,F-86 Sabre Jet(golden Hawks), CH-113 Labrador SAR and finally the Bell Iroquois SAR.

Re: Witty Sea Fury

The Sea Fury is a really cool plane, but not in my collecting era..

I just got the RCN version, and agree it is great. Especially like the subtle variations of grey. Mine came with a detached starboard-side tail member, but it super-glued okay. I also like the Witty Zeroes, and just received my seventh version. Looking forward to the Witty Fw 190's.
