Re: Hey!!! My shrink ray worked!!!!!

It's made by JWings (J-Wings??) for the Asian market. Models like this are "Trading Figures", which are small scale pre-painted (and mostly assembled) plastic models of vehicles, robots, monsters, etc. They're typically released in a series of 10-12 different models they all come in identical packaging. I think they're sold in Asian supermarkets (overseas) and you don't know which one you've bought until you actually open it. There are several eBay dealers, out of Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan & China, that sell them (they've already been opened, so you know which one your bidding on / buying). Some other companies that make "Trading Figures" are Konami, Takara/Kaiyodo, F-Toys, Furuta and of course JWings.

Aren't those companies located in Japan? The scifi ships from Furuta are very nicely done as well. Got some of the Star Trek ships that came with candies in them packages as well.

Re: Hey!!! My shrink ray worked!!!!!

That is pretty good detail on that Su-27 for that scale...
I had no idea they were going to be doing this scale either.

Re: Hey!!! My shrink ray worked!!!!!

The J Wings and F-Toys are 1/144 scale and are plastic pre-painted but needed to apply the decals provided. The Gaincorp World Aircraft Collection ones are 1/200 in scale.

I saw them for sale when I visited Hong Kong recently. They are very rare in Singapore and the prices are usually very steep. For J Wings, I prefer the first series, especially the F-14 which comes with phoenixs, bombs and even the LANTIRN pod.

World Aircraft Collection is a brand that uses "gaincorp" 1/72 moulds and something extremely similar to "witty" 1/72 moulds but reduced to 1/200.
I have a few of these in my collection and although a tad smaller than 1/144, they go perfectly with my 1/200 airliner collection.
Herpa has also entered the 1/200 fighter jet market, and even has some hangars, ground crew and equipment.
