Re: Witty's new F-14 and P-38

Corgi's one I think is on the list to be canceled, and I'm just not too fond of the IXO version, so I'm happy this one is coming out (as long as Corgi's is in fact not).
As far the F-14, cool, but seriously, so many other 'regular' units to choose from.......I don't understand between this one, the blue agressor, and the christmas decoration one.......oh well.

I was hoping to get that one too...

That Priller FW is going to look nice next to my Sterr and FM FW's.

Re: Witty's new F-14 and P-38

The FW looks great. Just hope the canopy closes more tightly in the final version (non-closing canopies used to drive me crazy in the Dragons).

The P-38 prop in the one photo is REALLY lose. Hope that is just a pre-pro booboo. It will be fun to compare the Witty mould with Corgi's.

Now the pricing watch...

(So far the only Witty moulds I've collected are the Zero and Sea Fury, and they're both excellent.)

The F-14 and Fw-190 are listed at TFM as available in September. Of course, Witty is usually late...

Same here, I can only guess the guys at Witty were trying to give collectors more options outside the conventional path, but seriously, with a topic like the F-14, you should probably go along the beaten path a bit more often instad of insisting with very rare liveries all the time. There are so many Jolly Rogers to start with!

Re: Witty's new F-14 and P-38

I was really hoping they make the "Thief of Baghdad" F-14 Tomcat.
That be a cool one to do as well.
Maybe someday.
