Re: Witty P-38 and F-104??

Really George is my fave F-104 scheme---and I still don't have one--been waiting to see which one's best. (I was about to start a thread asking which one was best--now we have a third!)

Re: Witty P-38 and F-104??

WHAT?....WHAT?...Gay....as in bright, lively....brilliant in color.

Is there anything wrong with that?.....

....and what's so interesting about our avatars?....Never seen a couple of studs before?

Ok Ok, I stand corrected!

On topic, I have the HM 104 and like it except where and how the nose piece connects. It's just not a clean fit. They should have made it so a pin/pitot just fits in the very end like on a Dragon F-16. I'll replace it w/ another 104 given the chance.

Don't forget the targets are my airfields, Leigh-Mallory, and you're not getting fifty, you're not even getting ten.

I have discussed this with HM with the same solution so hopefully future models will come improved. It's a nice model regardless.

Re: Witty P-38 and F-104??

Ok, that was a little harsh. The paint is beautifully done really! It is a very nice model but the nose thing... Would like to see the nose remedied and glad you said something Hawk. Can you put in a word for a Bavarian one like the one Franklin Mint made?

New P-38 Pictures thanks to the Merit International site: Love this!
