Re: Could this be in Wittys Future

Maybe I was hallucinating, but in a Witty catalogue I saw "MiG-29 Fulcrum coming soon" and a big photo of the real MiG-29. Sth. to look forward to!

Anyone heard anything yet?

Re: Could this be in Wittys Future

A Mig 29 from Witty would be sweet & would probably cost a lot less than Corgi's.

Re: Could this be in Wittys Future

Corgi's Mig-29 is avai.lable for pre-order at $39.99. Given that Witty's jets are priced at around that level already, with rumours of an increase, perhaps the Corgi version may be the better option?

Thumbs up Re: Could this be in Wittys Future

Hi i am new to this forum but not new to these subjects and being in touch with witty wings in person i can confirm that there is a mig-29 due March/April this year,i have seen the Corgi sample and thats as far as im prepared to go with comments on it,so judge for yourself. The first F-104 Starfighter is due around the start of March and there are plenty more exciting things to come in the future.

Cheers 1.

Re: Could this be in Wittys Future

Yeah, there's not a lot of useful information on it!

Where can I get a copy of their catalogue? Is it available in PDF format, and if it is, can someone please let me know where I can obtain a copy?

TIA :-)

Re: Could this be in Wittys Future

I spoke to a dealer today here in the Uk. The Mig 29 is due in May and was also told that Witty will be releasing a A7 this summer

Re: Could this be in Wittys Future

Notice the 'closed' engine intakes on the Mig 29. Apparently these were to protect the engines when landing and taking off from rough airstrips - these were built for any conditions, the good, bad and decidedly ugly.

(I've seen the intakes open and close on videos and it looks decidedly impressive - never had the good [or bad] fortune to get to see one up close and personal.)
