Witty Wings Jet Prices Going UP

Hello to all, I just got an email from one of my dealers and it seems Witty has just announced a 20% increase in cost of all there Jets except the SU-27.

It says even standing inventory of model that have been out a while are going up, not just new releases.

I think Corgi, opened up the flood gates with there increase.

So what did I do , I got those 2 F-15's from Witty I had been waiting on and only 66.00 shipped for both, A good deal.

Re: Witty Wings Jet Prices Going UP

These prices seem to be going up with all of them.
I wonder how that will play out after a few months.

Re: Witty Wings Jet Prices Going UP

Not sure overall, but I know the F-16 could be had for under $26.00 each on a good day, now I am told all new releases will be in the $33.00 to $36.00 range on the F-16, I also noticed some sites raised the F-15s new pre-orders from 32.88 to 36.98????

I think these companies are shooting themselves in the foot, this is already a limited market and with so much new product coming out, Some higher priced stuff will sit on shelves a long time I think?

Well, they just priced themselves out of my pocketbook.

Tell 'em, "thanks but no thanks" for me.

Re: Witty Wings Jet Prices Going UP

Unfortunately I am still going to want Witty Jets even with the higher price. I guess I will have to wait until stores can’t sell their stock because of their price and have to dump them at a discounted price due to being overstocked.

Its sucks for the dealers but works for me and hopeful it will put pressure on companies to be competitive. No matter what happens this will help bolster Hobby Masters market share which will hopefully raise QC amount other manufactures.

I don't think that this is necessarily Corgi's doing. I think that they were just the first ones. Your probably going to see increases across the board.
