Re: Pic's Aggressor F-14, RUSSIAN SU-27, RAF BF-109, JASDF F-15

The “Thief of Baghdad” was the last F-14B built and was the first Tomcat used as a “Bombcat”. VF-24’s desert camouflage schemes were applied during a deployment to NAS Fallon in late 1991. The colors of the 'Thief of Baghdad' & 'Camel Smoker' were said to be inspired by German WWII desert camos. During their time at Fallon VF-24 worked on air to ground weapons delivery tactics. A month later the 'Thief of Baghdad' was transferred to an East Coast squadron and was later destroyed in an accident which killed both crew.

The Mule now has the Aggressor Tomcat in stock. The scheme looks stunning. If anyone gets it soon, I'd me much obliged for a review and pics.

That is so odd. It is so rare for a diecast plane to be released two months early! I wonder what other surprises we can expect from Witty Wings.

The aggressor F-14 does look great; I’m glad they removed the AIM-54’s. Although I don’t mind the weapons load, they could have easily put the right load out on since they put a ACM pod on the Happy Holiday Jolly Roger. Its unfortunate they didn’t keep the missiles painted white rather than the grey they are now.
