Merry Christmas...To Me

Well I just received a large package on the doorstep yesterday. Can you say the Witty F-15 JASF Agreesor? Or how about the SU-27? Or the P-51 Ridge Runner? Or the OFMC "Frankie"? I must have been a good boy this year. It also helps to be single.

The F-15 Agreesor is FANSTASTIC!! The paint scheme is great. I haven't done a thorough walk through yet, but it apppears to be fairly spot-on. The same with the SU-27.

The P-51 is great too -- just need to get rid of the muppet-like pilot.

P.S. The Gemini Ace "Bald Eagle" was in the package as well. Oh Happy Day!!

Re: Merry Christmas...To Me

Yeah...Santa came early yesterday here in Orlando too! Guess he wanted some warmer weather and sun.
A large heavy brown box arrived on the front porch after exactly a week after it was shipped from the Mule. The Corgi "Snafu" PBY arrived along with both versions of the P-26 by MP. Also was the P-38 Bong, a Dragon FW-190 "Yellow 17", GA 109F-2 "Galland", and 4 Dragon Armour...German white half trak, white Hummel, "Red 12" Sherman and a "Black 231" Nashorn....along with a invoice for almost $300.00 on the credit card. Of course, I was home before the wife got in from work and these were long hidden away after a good "out of the box inspection"...but I did show her the PBY.

Re: Merry Christmas...To Me

The delivery necessiatated a trip to IKEA for two new bookcases and some lighting. No one tells you about the "extras" needed to properly enjoy your hobby!

With the added display space, I am now organizing the collection into themes. Mustangs and Phantoms, Oh My!!

... but I did show her the PBY.

As if you would have been able to hide that huge chunk of die-cast anyway ...

Yeah, the box is as big as the B-17 and B-24's. But, actually I did find a nice space. Hidden right next to the cleaning supplies for the bathroom.

That's a great idea....My wife would never find anything there.

Re: Merry Christmas...To Me

My SNAFU Snatchers PBY is currently taking up a good chunk of my clothes closet. I may need to leave that one in the garage. Will the cold temperatures be harmful to the model? I think in my garage it gets downt to around 32 degrees, but not much colder than that as we keep beverages out there that do not freeze up.

I'm shocked Skunky, do you mean to say that you actually have cleaning supplies in your fragrant lair ... ?

Re: Merry Christmas...To Me

If you got any of the OFMC stuff, I think you will really like it. I got both the Spit and the Mustang.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
