Re: Witty F-15 Eagle

The gear down thing is actually not a bad thing. The gear is down when landing and taking off hence the stand makes all sense. I have the Witty JASDF Mystic Eagle and am holding on to the red one for a friend but may find myself way too attached. I got mine at Biggunscollectibles. See PhantomPhan for more details. I also just got an AVG P-40 and Witty F-18F from the same place gosh guys I'm happier -n-a-pig in $#1^! Gort please trust me I have yet to steer you wrong brother....

Re: Witty F-15 Eagle

Louie you changed your name too.
I'll tell you what i like the stands on the Witty's better than Dragons.
Heck everytime you walk by my F-14 it moves around like it's going to fall.
F-15 stands nice and firm.

Re: Witty F-15 Eagle

I think the Witty stands would look great - if only they provided a landing gear "up" option.

To me, a plane "flying" around gear down with compressed oleo struts and flaps up (especially F/A-18s) looks a bit too strange...

Re: Witty F-15 Eagle

Personally I prefer the gear down option...it's one less thing that's a pain to make fit and more than likely break...

Talking Re: Witty F-15 Eagle

Yesterday I picked up my first Witty F-15, the JASDF 50th aniversary. Very Red! Great model! I give it a slight edge over Dragon's F-15's.

Thumbs up Re: Witty F-15 Eagle

I have been thinking of getting that one.....It's so red it looks like a modern day "Red Baron"
I really like my Witty Gorilla F-15 it would really look nice with the 50th anniv JASDF next to it.

Re: Witty F-15 Eagle

This one is SUPER SWEET folks! Very nice finish etc... What separates this from the Dragon entries is the: Acuated supports for the canopy and air-brakes, and the very nice and simple shackles for the sparrow missles. Pilot figure is rubber and silly but oh well he can be extracted and replaced. Super model and a must have for jet fans! No optional position on landing gear though... I just wanted to use that smiley face icon!
