What the Russian Knights Flanker will look like

This is a photo of a recently released model under the brand "World Aircraft Collection", the same guys behind the 1/72 Witty brand...albeit in 1/200.

The image shows a Russian Knights Su-27, and i am 90% sure this is how the 1/72 Witty version will look like.

I am not so sure I like this livery that much now that I see it.

Exclamation Correction :

WAC is the other name of Gaincorp. Witty has nothing to do with that range !

Re: What the Russian Knights Flanker will look like

You are completely misinformed my friend.

World Aircraft Collection carries 2 separate lines:

1/72, using Gaincorp moulds (what most ppl in the US are familiar with)
1/200 using EXACTLY the same moulds as Witty, albeit smaller (sth Japanese are more familiar with)

I know what I am talking about, trust me.

Below are two images, familiar? yes, PLAAF and Ukraine Su-27. Exactly the same as the 1/72 Witty version, but these are 1/200 (!!) and go by the name World Aircraft Collection (no conection at all with the 1/72 Gaincorp line). And you are still right about the lack of connection between Witty and Gaincorp.

Red face Oouuuups !!!

My mistake !

So, 1:72 WAC is Gaincorp, but 1:200 WAC is Witty. Correct ?

But, why doesn't Witty sale its 1:200 range under its own name, it would prevent confusion ?
