George Preddy was......Just the greatest fighter pilot who ever squinted through a gunsight.
He was a complete fighter pilot.......Colonel John C. Meyer Deputy Commander of the 352nd.

I agree. Can you imagine the smell in a closed cockpit.

Thanks for posting that JP, every time I see a photo or a film of George I think the sad loss of his life in such dreadful circumstances was a cruel thing to happen after such a glorious career.
