| Re: WW2 Beaufighters in action A magnificent aircraft! The buildings shown with the Beaufighters being assembled were knocked down last year to make way for a new set of buildings for making Airbus parts in. Hopefully this will ensuring the continuation of aero engineering on the Filton Bristol site for the next hundred years. The buildings still had the remains of the wartime camouflage paint on their roofs and walls when they were demolished. Meanwhile the Concorde deteriorates in the open and we are no nearer having a Bristol museum, thought they have many aircraft stored away from public view on another site. Horrido! | |||||||||||||
