I have seen these before somewhere the last one was silly ....But that first one ...The Helo in the water ...What the heck was he thinking that nose was deep in the water ...

I think he was trying to taxi - a very dangerous move in that sea state. HH-52 pilots were well warned about trying to do just that. More or less a forward dynamic rollover. Looks like he wasn't developing full power and elected to taxi back and got himself in trouble.

The Chinook on the Sydney Harbor bridge is classic vortex ring state. That's just one reason why external load work can be so perilous.
