Maybe someone in the know could fill in the details, but I believe that he's wearing one of the next generation display helmets. I'm thinking I've seen those somewhere before and that it displays info in the visor, maybe even aids in targeting. Am I correct, or am I mistaken?

Great Video Starman;

As long as the USN keeps training like it did in the past, the new Helmet Mounted Sights and Winder 9Xs ought to go a long way towards keeping Navair competitive against new Sukhois...flown by average pilots.

Still, is it just me, or does the flight deck of the Reagan look a bit empty without a certain big airplane taking up ramp space.
