Wow! What footage! That B-52 that crashed, looked like a mini-nuke going off. Hope they made it out ok.

Wow! What footage! That B-52 that crashed, looked like a mini-nuke going off. Hope they made it out ok.

Sadly, no one made it out of that B-52 crash. The pilot was seriously depressed, and had a history of doing dangerous air stunts. It's pretty much a case study of "what not to do as a Commander" in Air Force professional military education.

Truely some nasty ones there. I've seen some of these before but it's never nice to see a plane crash.

Yea that B-52 crash was on another thread i started..Thanks to Skunky for posting the link to it.
Every time i see that crash it makes me wonder why the higher up in command didn't stop him from flying like that.
He pushed the envelope to far on that flight and it cost the lives of his crew ....
