First time i seen that..and WOW what a hit......
In the first clip i could not hear it because the speakers dont work on the office computer
But what did them 3 guys get hit with anyway ??
That was some firepower .

I believe that was an M230 30mm automatic cannon (chain gun).

Thats right... The chain gun of the AH-64. Saw the video on another homepage with some additional info.

The second video looked like an 500 pound LGB dropped from a jet.

I think FVD could clarify on that, he's the expert.

Right on both counts. I can even say that's an F-16 display on the second video.

However, I'm not sure I feel comfortable with what the pilots were doing in these engagements. Hopefully, the videos don't show the whole story and no gross violation of Rules of Engagements occured during these encounters. Based on what is shown, I could only cringe and hope they had positive ID from some source or other.

And believe me, I'm no peace-above-all anti-war America-hating pinko leftist. Quite the contrary. But professionalism is paramount in these kinds of operations.

Anyway, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt...

Yes, the second vid was an F-16. IIRC, the Viper was called in because the "crowd" was swarming towards a SF unit that was pinned down.
