Re: Pain for laughs ....wipe out style

Now what's that 'spose to mean, Rush?!....

It means that I probably wouldn't see these people in the Oakland-Alameda coliseum (or whatever its called nowadays) rooting for the A's. A good chance that they may be there rooting for the Raiders, though!

Re: Pain for laughs ....wipe out style

Ok, I will admit, when I was younger maybe around 13-14 years old, I tried to jump my bike off a ramp a few times. I am not even going to tell you how it ended up for fear of what you guys will say. But, after 2 times I did learn my lesson. No more trying to be Evil Knivel.

Now...what kind of stupid things did you guys try. Come on, be honest.

Re: Pain for laughs ....wipe out style

I was never an Evel Knievel wanabe, but in the "just stupid" category........ when I was around 13 or 14, I was trying to get the lawn mower from the back to the front yard. The car was in the way. I needed to move it a few feet, so I put it in neutral, went to the BACK of it and pushed! As the car was on a very slight down grade, it continued to go forward for an extra five feet or so and hit the wooden garage door, doing a modicum amount of damage to the door!

Luckily, my older brother was quite handy even at a younger age, and was able to do quite a good fix of the damage.

Re: Pain for laughs ....wipe out style

When I was 19 I had a motor bike and forgot to check the brakes(dumb me or what) and there use to be a hill with a wicked turn in it that we use to love to run fast on. Well that would have been fine if I had brakes to slow me down going into the corners, with no brakes I became super man for a mere sec. Then I hit my head when I hit the ground and rolled a ways away, the bike took the worst of it by far. My handle bars were bent, the signel lights broke and I felt like a dumb for falling off That is why I am so brain dead today
