When someone builts a street legal car that can go from 0-330 mph in 4 and a half seconds, I'll be impressed. Also, the guy's statement about being faster than an F-1 car isn't true. If you ran an F-1 on that track, you'd get pretty close to 300 mph. F-1s have nearly as much horsepower as the Veyron and only weigh 1300 lbs.

F-1s, like all race cars, are geared for the track they're going to run on. If an F-1 were to make a run on the track the Veyron ran on, it would be geared appropriately. However, F-1s don't run on tracks like that, so no, F-1s are not geared for 250+ mph.

By the same token, Veyrons are set up as street-legal passenger cars (albeit very fast passenger cars) and are not set up for road course racing, so a Veyron would not be competitive against an F-1 in a road course race. And with the Veyron's weight, you couldn't set one up to be competitive, against an F-1, in a road course race.
