Soviet aircraft were my biggest interest when I was growing up. I've always found their stuff interesting. I just happened to look at a youtube video that a friend referred me to and saw one of these videos in the playlist. Then I started searching the topic of soviet aircraft.

Dumb question time. Can U.S. aircraft perform those manuevers? Can the SU-37 perform them outside of "ideal" conditions? (i.e. Test plane, test pilot) That's some pretty wicked video.

The F-22 demo at Oshkosh this year seemed to show manueverability beyond even what was seen in that clip. I sure wouldn't want to be in a gun fight with the Su-37 in a Hornet though.
