German gun camera footage on Youtube

I came across this 8 minute video on Youtube today that is a compilation of WWII Luftwaffe gun camera footage. I couldn't help thinking about the men inside those bombers that were being attacked (some of the attacks look especially brutal) and what may have happened to them.

Regardless of the side they were on, the guys in the bomber crews had a really different kind of bravery.

Re: German gun camera footage on Youtube

I was thinking of the same thing about the men as well.
Boy did the Fw190A stay right on the tail of that B-17 and came so darn close he could of ramed the tail area.

I had seen this posted before, but it is still awesome to watch.. I think the rear crew on that one B-17 must've been dead or they would've shot back.. I felt sorry for many of those tail gunners in the Liberators they seemed to get most of the grief..
