A Beautiful White Catalina

This is a beautiful aircraft. I'm not a big fan on the modern blisters, but it is a beautiful fish/bird just the same.

Re: A Beautiful White Catalina

If they are going to do a White Catalina, this Canadian one is the one I would like to see:

Re: A Beautiful White Catalina

With you all the way on this one admin I have seen this bird many times as it is based up the road in Duxford as to the Blister's not a fan but she is used apart from her time at airshows in the corporate world were such things as authenticity dont seem to mean much. I am hopeing that this year may get to see her land in the sea at one of our seafront displays

Re: A Beautiful White Catalina

Great vid!!! I agree with the above comments though, the new blisters make it look like it has tumors on its back or something....

Re: A Beautiful White Catalina

Nice, thanks for the pics, Gavin. As for the blisters, they are rather obscene but as mentioned above probably necessary. Tourist want visibility not authenticity but at least the funds keep these flying.

Thanks for the post.
