Here's a link to a pic of a P 38 I found on the web: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=5009629

Re: P 38

Thanks Captain. That IS a GREAT looking P-38. With so many colorful and unique marking schemes like this available, one has to wonder why Corgi choose such boring markings for their P-38 premier.

I coud put purple polka dots on one for you

I think the Bong plane looks pretty sharp. AND, it IS Bong's plane. Well, different strokes make the world go 'round....a bird in the bush probably has a friend in there with him....and remember; Tippy Canoe and Tyler, too.

If they bring out "Pudgy" and "Putt Putt Maru" I'll be happy

Re: P 38

I'll second Putt Putt Maru and Pudgy! Bong's plane just because of the pilot? Sorry, doesn't do anything for me. Rather have something with purple polka dots, green stripes or blue & yellow flowers. I'm a colorful kind of guy!

Re: P 38

I'd love to see that in small scale! I only have Mama's Boy so far. Can't wait for more Gable Schwanz Teufels!

Re: P 38

I would love to see an early model P-38 done up as Glacier Girl.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
