Re: WW2 movies that still need to be made

Ok we have laid out the basics for a remake of Midway, what other movie shall we work on now?

How about an updated version of In Harms Way, with WAY WAY better looking ships and planes?

Yeah, good movie but it would benefit as you say. And the chick scenes could really be bumped up a level or two.

It should be easy to cast a hot young thing to play Jere's girlfriend. It's gonna be way harder to find someone to fill Patricia Neal's part, though. IMO, there's no actresses around today who can match her talent -wise.

How about Glenn Close?

She's good. But I just don't see her playing Maggie...

Has Adolph Galland's life story ever been made into a movie? He definitely had an interesting life!

Guess we'll have to CGI Patricia Neal then.

We'd have to CGI John Wayne, Kirk Douglas and Brando De Wilde then, too! I don't think we have to go THAT far!
Maybe Edie Falco could play Maggie. I like her.

That brings up a point who could replace John Wayne and Kirk Douglas.

Well, if IHW ever did get remade, as long as Matt Damon and Ben Afflick weren't in it, I'd be happy.
