Re: Dog Fights-History Channel

I saw that on the Dogfights it was really cool....There are so many more stories they can tell about the Bluenosers too.
That was good to see Mr.Bryan on Dogfights.

Thanks for sharing that, CRIPES_A_MIGHTY. As I do not have cable, I especially enjoy seeing those extensive cuts.

Re: Dog Fights-History Channel

No problem Captain Eddie..glad you enjoyed it.
If you do a search on YouTube there are a number of clips from the History Channel show "Dogfights"
from all era's. WW1, WW2, Korea, Nam,etc. Its a great show!..Can be brought on DVD.

The clip that STARMAN352nd showed of the 352nd FG at Bodney..with a quick glimpse of Major.Preddy?
I have the FULL length version on DVD..hehehe! ...Some of it in colour as I recall..must dig it out.
Salute!

Re: Dog Fights-History Channel

Heres something that may interest you Captain Eddie.

This is a site I came across which has some great aviation clips and entire programs on aircraft!.
Including a few full episoders of "Dogfights", though some of them are in german, but you can aleast get
an idea of what the programs are like. Also some real nice flight simulator films, made from ingame footage.
Plus lots of other military programs and docs. Plenty of Aviation stuff.
Type in "world war 2" and you get lots of neat stuff. But any you fancy

Enjoy!

Re: Dog Fights-History Channel

Thanks, CRIPES_A_MIGHTY. Question though. It requires me to install active something or other, an my computer is giving all kinds of warnings about doing this. Can anyone verify this is perfectly safe to do?
