Some recommendations for your aviation library

The Fw-190D by Jerry Crandall is excellent and should be part of your library.

Re: Some recommendations for your aviation library

another I would recommend by Jerry Crandall is : Yellow 10, The Story of the ultra-rare Fw 190 D-13. One of the Carousel 1:48 Fw's is based on this book.

Air Wars and Aircraft, a Detailed History of Air Combat 1945 to the Present, by Victor Flintham, I would consider a must have. It was published in 1990, and I have been trying over the years, off and on, to find out if an updated version is available. If you can find a copy, I absolutely recommend it!

Elm, Has anyone bought yer He 111?

To keep on tack, I recommend Luftwaffe Colors, Vol I 1935-40 by Ken Merrick. This is the 1975 Arco version, not the later one.

I wanted to get the first volume of the Black Cross series several years ago and did not pull the trigger, it is now going for close to $900.00.
