| MB,MP,C1 1/48 Fokkers Photo comparisons O.K so here are the only 1/48 diecast metal Fokker Dr1 tri-planes on the market. All are nice but look at the photos and judge for yourself which is top dog. Please note*** The pilot in the MB Fokker is switched with the Carousel 1 pilot and vice versa. They did not complain and no pilot figures were harmed during this photo shoot. The first photo shows the Matchbox, ModelPower and Carousel planes in that order. The MP plane is darker and more glossy than the others. I found out today (thanks Starman) the wheel hubs were red not white on his real plane. | |||||||||||||

| Re: MB,MP,C1 1/48 Fokkers Photo comparisons The C1 Fokker Dr.1 Red Baron 425/17 is a really great diecast model and it's one of my favorites in my collection of WWI aircraft. JP | |||||||||||||

| Re: MB,MP,C1 1/48 Fokkers Photo comparisons So Louie, which one of the 3 Fokker Tripes do you prefer the best? I only have the MB red and green Tripes, but I am considering getting the Carousel Tripe to add in my collection, and the decision hinges upon your opinion. Thanks! ![]() | |||||||||||||

| Re: MB,MP,C1 1/48 Fokkers Photo comparisons I am very sincere and objective about this. Buy the Carousel. You will be extremely happy and it is limited. Comes with a beautiful faux grass display base, pilot, card with Red Barons picture and history. The model is extremely high quality. The pictures I posted say alot, but trust me in person you will see big differences. I would snatch the MB pilot out and replace the C1 one with it. Together they set the model off. Good luck. Do not pay full price patience, and trading or scouring e-bay will get you one for a reasonable price. | |||||||||||||
