I was always taught if you had nothing nice to say, than say nothing at all. This is me saying nothing at all.

I take it that you disapprove of this video, right?

Re: Kamikaze (Letters from Iwo Jima)

No, I think it is cool. I am not a fan of making it out that the WWII japanese soldier was just another fighting average joe stuck in a war. I have an second uncle who was in one of the death marches. he was on War Stories with oliver North. He tells a much different story. But that is a conversation not for the forum, and I don't wannt to start an arguement with people. I am not a fan of the movie. But what you have posted is cool. The Computer stuff they did for the film was very neat.

Re: Kamikaze (Letters from Iwo Jima)

Thanks, I know where you're coming from, MD.

I am also well aware of the Japanese atrocities committed to my countrymen in the Philippines during WWII. My dad, who was 11 years old around 1942, returned home to his home near Cabanatuan City (a concentration camp where the famous rescue led by US SpecOPS depicted in the film "The Great Raid") to get a sack of rice stored in his shed. Long story short, a japanese soldier shot him but missed...luckily for my dad! His father was a guerilla soldier during the japanese occupation of the islands and relished in killing as many of the japs as he could. But I digress...
