Re: My collection ( before winnie the pooh invades my displays)

Not to be an alarmist but I would ground that blitz set HE-111 until you get the fixed stand from Corgi. The first couple HE-111s released had stand issues and if I remember correctly the Blitz set was one of those. You can get a free replacement stand, http://www.corgi.biz/contact.html, or prepare for a forced landing.

Otherwise, an impressive collection.

Re: My collection ( before winnie the pooh invades my displays)

thank's all, I'm figuring out a defense for the up coming invasion. Thanks for the info Panzercommander, And thank you for the great deal in the purchase of the Blitz set. The planes will be crucial for the defense of my protection of my scanctuary. It's hard to think of watching football on Sundays and having Pooh and his buddies watching it too. I wonder if they'll have a beer while watching...... The RAF vehicles are part of the Battle of Britain releases by Lledo, exact scale I'm not sure, they did release two 3 vehicle sets a couple of years ago. Why is it when a woman moves in first they need to redecorate your bathroom then the bedroom, living room (and most the time in floral) and your spare room, den, display area.

The Germans dropped pooh during the war too!? And I thought those were just pot marks and bomb craters in the aerial photographs. Those ruthless #$!&%

Who'da thunk?

It was part of a largely unknown airborne action coded Operation:Honeypot. It got pretty hairy for awhile but Pooh really helped the allies out of a sticky situation.

A silly point of information but did you know that the Germans complained that the Brits were guilty of germ warfare. The Lancaster crews were emptying their Elsan toilets over the German cities, Honest its true!!

Re: My collection ( before winnie the pooh invades my displays)

My significant other wants to display her Pooh/Disney collection in the same room along with my planes. ....so here are some pics of my planes before the pooh invades..

Great looking collections! I'm curious, did you get those shelvings from BIG LOTS. They look familiar (at least to me) and they're very nice and reasonably priced as well.

Re: My collection ( before winnie the pooh invades my displays)

I lied and told my wife that we don't have a gameroom. Luckily she lets me have my happy place. She doesn't understand all of it, but she just kind of rolls with it.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
