Re: My collection as of October..

Harry, how do you get to have a corner display in your bedroom? My wife seems to think our bedroom is partly hers and will only allow toys in there that she likes

and none of them are diecast I'll wager .

I am fortunate to require a home office otherwise I'd be out of luck I fear. She is coming around a bit but when I suggested I put the new Lanc out on the entertainment center words were not needed to convey her opinion of the matter.

Re: My collection as of October..

Thanks for the comments guys....
As for exact number, I'd say 150+ planes and about 30-50 armor pieces, with about 25% of those being built models.. I keep a running inventory, but there is a considerable amount of items that I don't keep itemized.. This is one reason that when I have a sale, usually, it is a large one..

Great collection, How many do you still have in Boxes? Half, quarter?
I didn't count but if you have a couple hunded planes and tanks, there must one of those storage rental planes with your name on it.
I have about 150 planes, (all displayed) and I have an entire store room just for the boxes.

I have about half my collection on display.. I would really like to have all of it out, but I just don't have room and the wife won't allow another display case in the house..

Is the Me-110 an IXO? How does that hold up? Does it actually have a gear-up option? Or is the wheel well covering part of the mould? Thanks

The 110 is an IXO piece and it holds up very nicely.. I have moved it around a few times and other than dropping the DF loop off once or twice, I have had no problems..

Is that Yak an Easymodel bird? Like that scheme - wish IXO had done a livery like that

Yes, it is an Easymodel Yak.. My LHS got all the liveries in, but this was the only one I really liked..

I do believe you have WW I also, do you not?

I used to have all the MB WWI planes, but pieced them out once I decided to concentrate in WWII

Harry, how do you get to have a corner display in your bedroom? My wife seems to think our bedroom is partly hers and will only allow toys in there that she likes

Luckily, my wife "somewhat" supports my hobby and allows me a corner or two to put my stuff in, except in well traveled areas where company might see it..

I know that my eyesight is bad, but is that a Typhoon with a russian paint scheme towards the middle? I must be wrong.

Nice stuff buddy.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
