Though I don't know whether the dark grey squares between the tail fins are correct or not. But even if it were a mistake, i'm still happy with these. Much more affordable than Herpa

Re: MHogan 1/200 F/A-18 Super Hornets

Andrew, the "squares" are quite correct, you can find good pictures of superbugs all over the net and they do have that plating over the exhausts, but I have no clear idea what's their purpose. Hogan M-Series are not supposed to be just "cheaper than herpa", in fact, herpas are probably less accurate in most cases since they were early moulds and liveries are not as well-researched, hogan does do their homework prior to producing their models, so I am happy for skipping the middle-man with a shiny name and little military sense.

Question Re: MHogan 1/200 F/A-18 Super Hornets

I have never been convinced by Herpa's 1:200 fighters : I currently only have WAC/Gulliver's.

These Hogans look good, where do you buy them ?

I remember you're a frog and snail eating frenchman...then you should check with SOCATEC, so far not many online shops carry hogan M-SERIES...but I am sure many here know more about online shopping than I do.

I bought mine from Japan.

Not sure how many retailers have them though.

More new Hornets are out. Including Low-vis schemes. The low-vis VF-102 features Aim-9X. Sorry bout the lighting.
