I used to have the 1/700 Japanese Aegis in my collection....until a cousin of mine accidentally broke the middle segment of the ship. I am now only left with the bow and the stern sections!

Hey, nice submersibles, Tedongganas! I'm starting to dig Takara -- I'm working on their skeletonized 1:48 Zero now, and I just ordered the three-piece 1:700 Agano light cruiser on eBay from a seller in Singapore; $32 shipped. I passed on the 1:700 Yamato, though -- just too big!

Thnx. I can assure you won't regret with the Agano. Its a rare breed now in Singapore.The Skeletonised Zero is a neat plane too Folgore.That's a very good purchase with all the details.
Well i'll beadding the Yamato to my collection and hope to convince you to follow suit once i posted the pics.Hope to see some pics of your Agano .

Hi Tedongganas,

Miniature Hobby has been slashing prices of its Japanese products recently. Targa's sectional U-boat is now going for S$62 (about US$45). Saw it in their shop at Vivo City.

Maybe it's worth calling them to ascertain the price of the Takara Yamato before taking the plunge?

Hi Paladin18, that's what i paid for the U-Boat from Miniature Hobby.As for the Yamato,unfortunately they don't have stocks.Guess i'll have to buy them from Hobby Point.
will share the pics once i get them.I'm keeping my eye on the Doyusha Comanche and Apache attack choppers as well as the Elite Force US Little Bird . So many goodies ........
