Made of Lead in the 1930s

During the depression era these cheap toys were made of lead. Wash your hands after playing and before eating!









The plane in this last picture, a Vega made by Barclay, has a steel wing.

This just show's we have come a long way since 1930's.
That be really cool to have the first diecast plane ever made.
