Re: Who likes X-wings ???

It's a high-end resin kit that I bought already built and painted. Here's an unassembled kit on eBay...

Then you did a great job on that X-wing Skidmarks!! I am impressed.......

I'll have to pass on one of these.JP

True, but for the Star Wars fanatics, that's "Chunks O' Change" only.

Thanks, but I didn't paint it. It was painted by a professional artist/model builder.

Re: Who likes X-wings ???

Finemolds out of Japan is coming out with a 1/48 scale X-wing for around 38 bucks
Even some of you diecast guys can build this its a snap kit

Fine Molds' new 1/48 X-Wing is going to be far more than just a bigger version of its 1/72 cousin (which still holds the crown as the best-selling model kit we've ever handled!). Fine Molds has upped their game, and this new kit will feature snap assembly! But don't misinterpret that feature to mean this is going to be a simplified kiddie kit, as there will be no compromise on the detail; it will still be a perfect X-Wing model based on all the same careful research that they did on Lucas' special effects miniatures for the 1/72 offering. Coupling that with stickers as well as slide decals for the markings means the best of both worlds: The kit will make a perfect gift for kids or people who haven't done much modeling, but will still offer more experienced modelers the kind of perfection they demand
