Re: Code 3 Star Wars

Oh that's just great! Wouldn't you know the same day I receive my Code 3 X-wing, Lucasfilm announces a new company will begin manufacturing high-end Star Wars diecasts. I guess I'll hold off on getting the Code 3 TIE Fighter.

Re: Code 3 Star Wars

I love it! The model's a work of art. I love how the engineered the working S-Foils (split wings). If there is one thing I would have to critique about it, it would be the almost too dark weathering. This probably has more to do with lighting than the actual paint applied to the model. It should look fine once I get it displayed under some decent lights. I'll probably have to display it though without the base and acrylic cover. I don't have any shelving that wide in my hobby room. I just hope eFX does just a good a job with their upcoming line.

Re: Code 3 Star Wars

Can you remove the R2 unit? I love how the Code 3 pieces had certain magnetic points to close and hold down flaps and panels. Corgi could learn a thing or two.

Yes, R2-D2 is removable. He comes in the box with the removable panels/landing gear.

Re: Code 3 Star Wars

Greetings !

l have been hopelessly looking for a Code 3 Mars Rover in 1:10 scale, for a while, now but it seems to be sold out literally everywhere.
Does anyone have a clue as to where it might still be available for sale or hint at how to obtain it ? l'd appreciate, if so.

Kind Regards,
