Battlestar Pegasus vs Imperial Star Destroyer

So I thought I'd steal Rush104's idea and start a similar poll for us sci-fi nerds. Break out your Spock ears!

Re: Battlestar Pegasus vs Imperial Star Destroyer

I'm gonna go with the Pegasus. A colonial Battlestar carries enough nukes to take down anything especially a puny Star destroyer..

I like this! It's like therapy for my Inner Nerd...
I'll also go with the Pegasus. Not only does it have impressive firepower, but it has Michelle Forbes as its CO. A bad-to-the-bone ship commanded by a smoking hot lady. A deadly combo indeed!!!

Re: Battlestar Pegasus vs Imperial Star Destroyer

The Star Destroyer gets my vote because a haven't a clue what the other one is.

Even is the so-called "Pegasus" (I hate ships named after mythological things) did destroy a Star Destroyer with all these "nukes" it would simply be be obliterated by the Death Star. Oh and this "Smoking hot lady" would probably be reduced to dog meat at the hands of Darth, so there. The End.

But not if the NCC 1701 skippered by James Tiberius Kirk came at the last minute and (pause) saved (pause) the (pause) day. Pauses where placed in to try and simulate the slight over acting of William Shatner

Ah, but you are forgetting the Millenium Falcon, the greatest Sci-fi starship ever. That would win... somehow. I just know it would.

The Millenium Falcon...that goofy lookin' piece of junk??? It looks like it was patterned after a toilet seat with a cockpit added on the side...
Since we're opening this up to ALL spaceships, I'll take the Planet Killer from the Original Series episode "The Doomsday Machine". A single shot from that would waste a Death Star!
Although, come to think of it, the Wave Motion Gun on the Argo (Space Battleship Yamato for you purists) is a pretty cool weapon, too. I'd like to get one of those mounted on my car...
And, you can keep Darth Vader. I'll take the "Smoking Hot Lady" any day. Of course, she'd be even hotter wearing one of those micro-skirt uniforms like Uhura used to wear...
