Re: Any Space 1999 Eagle Fans Here??

That is really awesome looking. I've got one or two of the Product Enterprise Eagles, but mine are smaller. Is this a newer line? The ones I have are about a foot long.

PE has a "Supermarionation" line of large, expensive, assembled/painted resin models, mostly of Gerry Anderson ships (Eagle, Thunderbirds, Lady Penelope, etc...). The 23" Eagles were released, in the US, around March of last year. PE originally planned to produce 1500 of the plain white transporters but decided to pull 200 off the line and paint them with the red stripes on the passenger pod.

Re: Any Space 1999 Eagle Fans Here??

Here are some pictures of the new Eagle set. The booster rocket pod can be placed on all the Eagles and is a very nice addition. The laser tank has some great detail and is as good as a Dragon 1/72 scale tank IMHO - the little 'buggy' is the icing on the cake!

I can thoroughly recommend all the Product Enterprise models - great detail and superb finishes. I need to get Stingray next and the SHADO mobile..... Looking forward to the Seaview as well.

Check out Product Enterprise Ltd - Creators of Classic Toys and Collectibles - or don't, as they are updating the site to put on the 2007 models. Maybe some more Space 1999 vehicles, the Hawk perhaps?

Seaview! As in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea Seaview? Really? I would love a detailed Seaview model.

I have the FAB1 Supermarionation model, it looks a dead ringer for the props Ive seen on the TV series. Im tempted by the up coming TB2, I have a lowly Aoshima 1/200 minding its place atm.

OK just checked the Fabgearusa site & the PE TB2 will cost $US799. Me thinks my 'Supermarionation' collecting days are over.
