| Re: Sci-Fi diecast? Anyone? here's a link to Hasbro's site for this series of vehicles: http://www.hasbro.com/titaniumseries/ (I'm not sure if its totally up to date.) Some of my favorites from this series (but, honestly - they all are pretty cool): Battlestar Galactica - Both Vipers; Cylon Raider; Raptor. Star Wars - Tie Interceptor; AT-AT Walker; Milenium Falcon; A-Wing; B-Wing; Imperial schuttle. It may be stretch - but maybe we could add an area in Related Subjects for SCI-FI Diecast? Or does anyone know of any forums that are specifically focused on this area? | |||||||||||||

Yes - I got sucked into those too - about a year ago at Toys R Us. Picked up an Enterprise, Klingon Battlecruiser, and a Bird of Prey. I still have them on the card - not sure where to display them. Also - I saw some of these a couple months ago at Kaybee Toys - they were clearancing them out - "buy 2 get one free" or some other type of deal. May still be able to find some there.

| Re: Sci-Fi diecast? Anyone? A while back I bought a corgi doctor who dalek and cyberman. I saw the star wars ships, but I am proud to say I resisted. I already have one curio full of planes, I cant start a space ship collection also! must resist. Ships are fun... I'd like a small tardis. and a space 1999 eagle. These tend to be expensive though. ... One addiction is enough. must resist...must resist...must resist.. | |||||||||||||

Resistance is futile Fileasfog, YOU will be assimilated ... (to paraphrase the Borg) Seriously, have you no concern for the evolution of flight - from WW I biplanes through to Starships ...

| Re: Sci-Fi diecast? Anyone? Believe it or not, my starship collecting predates my diecast airplane collecting. I built model airplanes first, of course, but starships were easy to purchase. I've got almost all of the old Star Wars Action Fleet, including the E-Wing and the TIE Defender. That started it all. I picked up the cool JL ships and have a lot of the Hallmark ornaments too. I have a diecast Y-Wing from 1977 that drops a little bomb (my oldest piece), and the first wave of Star Wars diecast that Galoob did before they were purchased by Hasbro. I totally dig the new Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica stuff. I have a serious collecting problem. | |||||||||||||

The Hasbro SW 'Action Fleet' E-Wing and TIE Defender are quite nice and were hard to get and very sought after in my neck of the woods at the time. I love the Action Fleet series so much.
