I need your prayers, cancer related

As some of you may know my better half & love of my life Gina was diagnosed with a rare & aggressive form of cancer back in 2000. Over time she endured three surgeries on her hip where the cancer was located & very aggressive radiation & chemotherapy treatments.
She has been cancer free & healthy for the past few years but upon a recent six month MRI something abnormal was found in her hip bone were the cancer originally was back in 2000.

After several tests & a PET scan there was no sign of malignancy, however the area in question has grown in size. Her oncologist believes this could be part of the bone dying off due to the damaged suffered from the radiation treatments. But to be 100% sure it's not cancer he would like to perform a minor surgery on the area & biopsy the bone.

If the biopsy comes back clear (as we are all hope & pray) then she will need either a hip replacement or another type of surgery to correct the damage done by the radiation. That sucks, but trust us we would rather deal with that than cancer any day.

Cancer sucks, REALLY, I cant begin to tell you what it's like to go through this.
It makes you do crazy things like speed down the highway at 130MPH, drink like a fish or act like a loon just to get your mind off it for a little while. All I can honestly say is I would never wish this upon anyone!!

If God allowed my to trade places with Gina so she would no longer have to go through this I would in a heartbeat.
She is my best friend & someone who has helped me through some very tough years, I love her more than anything.

So I'm asking for your prayers & positive thoughts so that everything comes good over the next few weeks & that we both stay sane & Strong during this time.
I really believe in the power of prayer & positive energy, it's the only thing that got us thought it the first time.

Re: I need your prayers, cancer related

Done and done PhantomPhan! My thoughts and prayers go out to your sweetheart and you. My wife and I have been living with her back injury for three years now (ever since she was hit by a postal truck while out for a walk). While nowhere on the level of what the both of you are going through, I can empathize with what you must be feeling and, like you, I'd with no hesitation trade places with my wife so she'd never have to be in daily pain again!

Stay strong!

I lost my dad to that disease, Phantom Phan, after a long, drawn out battle, so I have some idea of what you are going through. My prayers will be with you and Gina. May God see you through this ordeal. My very best to you and Gina.
