Well, I thought as much. But still, your previous statement of diecast "philosophy" strikes me as a bit odd, if taken litterally. I'm not super-picky about my models (I have a few IXOs after all), and I'm satisfied with 95% of them, but I'd be lying if I said I never regretted buying at least a couple of models.

I must say that since joining this forum, though, this kind of disappointment has pretty much dwindled to zero (except one bad e-bay experience, but that's another story), as I seem to be getting great advice from the other collectors' comments (and pictures) about models. Very helpful indeed (but I was collecting way before joining, so...).

Well, don't worry. I kind of knew what you meant, I'm not one to regret too many things myself, and certainly not one to fret over them for a long time. But I still can't say I never ever regret a single thing.

Very few considerations for me:
1. needs to be 1:72 ( unless it is Canadian and then scale is out the window)
2. needs to be WWII (same exception as above)
3. Has to look nice to me.
4. Has to be reasonably priced.
